This week on our Beverage Education section, we at Garvey would like to take the time to bring your attention to a cause our partners and founders at Garvey hold close to their hearts: the Lone Survivor Foundation (LSF). For those of you who don’t know the Lone Survivor Foundation dedicates its time and services to a providing a “close-knit and understanding support system. A place where the service members and their families could heal together as they all worked through the consequences of war.” Founded by former Navy SEAL, Marcus Luttrell, LSF works with multiple companies to raise funds to support assistance programs for branches of the military.
Of the companies that give a portion of their proceeds for these causes are Heroes Vodka and RumChata. For a limited time throughout the year RumChata releases their acclaimed ‘Freedom Bottle’. How does this differ from the traditional RumChata bottle? The proceeds made from RumChata’s Freedom bottle’s sales go to supporting the Lone Survivor Foundation, as well as service members and their loved ones. While the RumChata Freedom bottle is only available for a limited time, Heroes Vodka is available year round.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Heroes. The company was founded in 2009 by Travis McVey, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. The portion of the proceeds made from every Heroes Vodka purchase goes to AMVETS to support military veterans, active military members, and their families.
Don’t forget to take the time to support our American heroes, friends.
If you’re interested in purchasing the RumChata’s limited edition Freedom Bottle and/or McVey’s Heroes Vodka, call us, visit us, or check out website for availability.
